A.M.P Rose 'ELW' Lollipop Cut and Wrap Machine

This machine is designed to produce round, oval or rectangular lollipops from a candy rope, by sizing, shaping, cutting off, inserting a stick and wrapping. It is ideally suited for a candy rope with a design worked in the centre which shows attractively through the completed wrap. The E.L.W. can also be supplied for cutting and wrapping without inserting a stick. It is suitable for use with high-boiled sugar or low-boiled products.

Style of Wrap
Twist/crimp wrap, i.e. twist at end of lollipop and crimp at the opposite end over the stick.
Double-end crimp wrap.
Double-end twist wrap.
Fantail/rat tail twist, i.e. fantail at end of lollipop and rat tail twist at opposite end over stick.

Wrapping Materials
Moistureproof, heat sealing, transparent cellulose film.
    Reel core diameter  .  .   . 77 mm.
    Maximum outside diameter . 355 mm.
Other reel core diameters can be accommodated specially.

Lollipop Sticks
Paper stick 76 x 3 mm diameter.

Feeding
Candy: Plastic rope drawn from a suitable batch roller through four pairs of sizing rollers.
Standard infeed height 1200 mm.
Stick: hopper.

Discharge
Alternative arrangements are possible as follows.
1. Delivery belt approximately 457 mm long.
2. Chute discharge in line with machine.
3. Chute discharge at right angles to the machine.

Speed
Up to 175 pieces per minute depending upon size and nature of the piece produced.

Interchangeability and Size Limits
Change of size is effected by change parts.
    Diameter or diagonal : 25 to 44 mm
    Thickness (cut-off):     8 to 16 mm
