The unit is based on a spherical stainless steel pan, which can be driven at speeds variable between 5 and 75 rev/min. at angles of between 0° and 180°. The unit is supplied with a 300mm pan as standard but we also offer a 400mm pan as an alternative or an additional item.

The dragee pan is designed to a suitable height to allow for the application of heat by means of a laboratory Bunsen burner, alternatively hot or cold air may be directed to the pan by clamping a small domestic hairdryer to the framework.

By using one of three dials the speed, angle and direction of the pan are all easily changed to suit each individual application. The addition of digital display unit, unique to our machine, gives the user the revolutions per minute, a reset-able batch count, which is held within the memory until cancelled and a cumulative count is used in servicing.
